Sedona Updates Cooperation Guide

Judges use the Sedona Cooperation Proclamation as a framework for managing e-discovery in civil cases.

In Law Technology News, Monica Bay reports on the publications of the third edition of “The Sedona Conference Cooperation Proclamation: Resources for the Judiciary.” The author notes that the latest edition updates case law and rules and references to secondary sources. Additionally, new sections have been added including “judicial ethics regarding ESI” which addresses such issues as , “whether a judge should ‘friend’ an attorney on social media or engage in Internet research.”
