New York Supreme Court Rule 9 Providing for Accelerated Adjudication

The Commercial Division of the New York Supreme Court’s new Rule 9 took effect on June 2nd, allowing for accelerated adjudication for any commercial dispute exceeding $500,000 (excluding class actions). Parties can express their consent to this process by including language in their contracts or by filing a stipulation to adopt the process.
